Apple Video Games

I recently switched to a Mac (about 6 months ago) and have been enjoying every moment of it!

Recently I wanted to play one of my favorite video game, Sim City 4, and I found myself struggling to find a copy for a Mac that did not require me to spend $50. I already own a copy of it, for which I paid about that much, why should I have to buy it again.

Anywhere I looked and searched, the game was very expensive. So I decided to search for some of my other favorite games such as Civilization IV or Caesar III. I was very frustrated with the fact that ALL Mac games were just as expensive as when they first were released.

Meanwhile, the PC version of them all, brand new, are about $15-$25 depending on the game. It was very disappointing to say the least. With Mac use growing so rapidly, when will the software developers start reducing their prices on these titles so that we can replace our PC versions.

I reached the point to where I am actually considering buying a new PC desktop so that I can play the games I already own. If I have to replace all of them with a Mac version, I will end up paying more for the games than for a new PC.

How frustrating!!!
